George's Place
George' s Place is one of my favorite local spots to grab a tasty bite. In particular, they feature the best French Toast (with bananas) in South Jersey, or any Jersey for that matter. This landmark diner has been around for 40 years but only recently has gained a notoriety for it's perfect pitch urban diner ambiance and taste bud dancing culinary treasures.
John, the owner of George's (ha), sets the mood for his funky eatery by hanging wonderfully lively pictures of his family throughout the diner. I love that. The photographs show his family pride and love and make you realize the food tastes so good because he does what he does for his family, and of course, because he loves to cook and is good at it. Here his son looks up to his pop's entrance sign, and to a bright future I'm sure.

Behind the Beach
Another shot of Cape May's Beach Theatre sign, from both sides. I find it interesting when you peak behind the facade and glimpse the rough and unfinished mechanics of what's responsible for projecting to the world the shiny, fancy exterior.
Photographer's Intrusion
This shot taken from outside Congress Hall.

Cape May's beautiful light
The Blue Pig restaurant at Cape May's famous Congress Hall Hotel features amazing natural light at sundown; you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee to the beautiful setting sun light.
Walking by the other night, I noticed for the first time, really, their super cool outdoor lighting fixtures — old fashioned clear bulbs with the visible glowing filament that tonight, seemed to cast a light that lit up the distant clouds with a beautiful pink hue.
