Monika's Flag
The Story
A car pulls up to watch another beautiful Cove Beach sunset, and their tiny little antenna flag starts flapping a million miles an hour with the sun directly behind it. I thought it looked so cool and started snapping away to see what I could see. Check out the frayed cloth threads releasing from the flag stripes, and all the parts of the flag are visible — the stars, stripes, the colors.I didn't know the people in the car and I think they thought it quite strange that I was taking photos practically leaning over their hood. They were very nice and I learned the girl's name was Monika — spelled with a K, I imagine, picking up on the Swedish accent.
