We are thrilled to announce that capemayX has introduced a new, simple to use video page; which you can access from the video section in the navigation bar, or by clicking here. From this point forward, all capemayX.com video clips will be posted there, in one easy to browse window. For now, we've posted a few recent video shorts so you can get a feel for how it works (great btw!). Of course, you will need a broadband internet connection to watch, but these days most people have broadband.


Snapshot of our simple new video interface. Or, just check out the page. This new interface and functionality has big implications for capemayX and for Cape May's businesses. In particular, all new clips — be they one off stories we cover, or sponsored clips — are logged in to the major search engines using relevant tags and keywords. As people search for specific types of video, which they are doing more and more, capemayX clips will start to appear. Good news for any business that takes advantage of this new marketing tool. And since many of our stories have both video and text, this only adds to the potential for high ranking search results.

Improving the User Experience

But our main goal was even simpler. We wanted to create a better online experience for our audience so they could learn about all the wonderful Cape May stories via interactive video clips. How cool is that? When people research online, what better way to communicate than to provide the online equivalent of a TV commercial, but that also has all the built in tools for sharing, syndicating, or using the content. Our video clips are simple to find, view, or share — and they're fun! Up until now, we could only include single clips within a story. So to find a video you'd have to search through the archives. And quite frankly, people don't search through archives unless they're really committed. Now they don't have to since all clips will be in one spot.

And wait until you see what a great tool this can be to differentiate your business and create a deep brand and value connection to your customer or potential customers. Follow our narrative over the next few weeks. We'll show you how capemayX video allows for content syndication. In fact it's built right in so potentially, one clip could post to thousands of targeted sites around the world.
