Fri, February 23 Last night Cape May was served up some spectacular sunsets. Just stunning rays and cloud formations blasted across town in all its pastel pink and orange glory.
This view is in the back bay area which has quite a bit of development underway. The crane silhouette hints at that ongoing construction.
A little tough to see, but the pylon silhouette over to the left is an artificial owl. Those fake owls are dotted throughout the waterways and help keep away the seagulls that love to poop on everything. Apparently, after a short while the seagulls learn that the owls don't move and they aren't scared away anymore.
