Old Cape May Beach Tags

tag.1994.jpg Every Cape May beach tag tells a unique story. I've always wondered how the designs are picked year to year. Anyone? We found a bunch in the back of desk drawers and clinging to old beach bags hanging in the shed, but we want more! 552666-460909-thumbnail.jpg

Especially the ones dating back to the beginning (1970s?). If anyone has any old tags send us an email and let us know! We'll feature them in the main banner.

I think there is a contest each year where children submit their designs and the winner is used for the seasonal tag.

I bought my first season beach tag this year and I was impressed with the gilt print quality & design of them. I've saved my visitor tags from years before, but they're no where near as pretty. :)

Does anyone know where I can purchase blank beach tags (used for wedding place cards)? Thanks!

Hi Rebecca, thanks for stopping by. You might want to try Cape May's City hall. http://www.capemaycity.com/

They handle the beach tags every year and might know where you can purchase blanks for your needs. That's a very creative idea, by the way. Good luck.
