Mon, July 10 The man has a head for hot dogs (click) Hot Dog Tommys is quite literally, an open window to the hunger craving soul of the Cape May beach goer. Where else can you get a perfect root beer slushy and eclectic selection of lunch items that surprise you with how beach day tasty perfect they are.
This writer has two favorites; the Leaner Weiner Jersey Slaw Dog (small doggie with a funky cranberry slaw and mustard layer that keeps you thinking how tasty it is the whole time you're chowing). And my other favorite is the Tuna Cup. It features Mary's original
The long but fast moving line says it all recipe of tuna salad, banana peppers, and crushed potato chips on top. One serving and you're hooked. Prices are just what they should be, and there's always some quirky humor at the window served up by Tom, the guy with the hot dog hat.
